In Norse mythology, Asgård was the higest realm of the Universe.  Similarly, in Buddhism, the Western Paradise is a place beyond Samsara of near enlightenment.  A place between these two lofty realms expresses our yearning to overcome the dominant mentality of our current time.

This blog is intended to express views - at times controversial - on a number of subjects.  The predecessor to this blog, PetrusRomanus contained writing on religion, spirituality, and history.  This blog continues much in the same spirit, but intends to add more topics, ranging from languages to current events.  Occasionally, I will post original writings (mostly short poems), as well as interesting goings-on in my life which give a perspective on my own life.
